Conditions
None
Sungrow has no registration deadline and no registration requirement. The 10 year term runs from the installation date whether anyone registers or not. EV chargers are the one exception: the installer registers those within a month. Keep proof of the install date, because the whole term hangs off it.

What has to stay true
Nothing has to stay true
Sungrow attaches no conditions to the full term in the document we read. Keep the serial, the invoice and the install date with the job and the claim file is complete.
Terms by product line
Parts and labour are separate covers and they are rarely the same length. The models column is what the nameplate will say.
| Product line | Parts | Labour | Models |
|---|---|---|---|
| SH RT Hybrid | 10 years | 1 year | SH10RT, SH8.0RT |
| SBR Battery | 10 years | None | SBR128, SBR096 |
What it pays for labour
The part is covered. The truck roll usually is not, and that is the number that decides whether a claim is worth filing.
The SH RT hybrid line carries 12 months of labour cover. The SBR battery line carries none.
Verify: how it works

Sungrow warranty questions
Does a Sungrow inverter need registering?
No. Sungrow encourages registration, but the 10 year term runs from the installation date either way. EV chargers are the exception and the installer registers those within a month.
What proof does a Sungrow claim need?
Proof of the installation date above all, because the term is measured from it. Capture the serial and the nameplate photo at commissioning and the date is never in dispute.

Warranty terms change and differ by country. This is a reading of the manufacturer's published document on the date shown, not legal advice, and not a substitute for the document that applies to the model you installed.
