The problem is not that people forget deadlines
We read every manufacturer's published warranty document and found that solar brands almost never run registration deadlines. What they run is conditions. GoodWe publishes a ten year inverter term that is five unless the inverter stays connected to its portal. Tesla's Powerwall term can fall from ten years to four without internet. REC's extended cover exists only where the installer registered the install. Silfab's product warranty is twelve years and becomes twenty five only if the install is registered inside 180 days.
A condition has no date on it, so nothing turns red. The inverter drops off the portal in March and the record looks the same in April as it did in February. That is what warranty claims software is for, and it is why a date column in a spreadsheet cannot do it.
The bill arrives later. Labour is the cost that decides whether a claim is worth the visit, and only 4 of the 19 brands in our catalogue pay anything toward it. Enphase publishes a rate in the United States, at $200 per truck roll plus $25 per replaced microinverter. Most of the rest pay nothing, so the truck roll is yours whether the claim succeeds or not.

Capture on site
The tech photographs the nameplate. The make, model and serial are read off the label and filled in, with anything uncertain flagged amber so a person checks it. The photo stays on the record either way.
Hold each brand's conditions
Not one deadline for the job. Each piece of equipment carries its own maker's conditions, and the record stays open until somebody confirms them.
Assist the registration
Claim Timer opens the manufacturer portal with your install details lined up in the order that form asks for them, and saves the confirmation number when you have it.
Build the claim
A checklist that will not let you submit until the install record, the confirmation number, the serial photo, the failure photos and the invoice are all there. Then one PDF with a cover sheet.

What is solar warranty management software?
Software that holds one record per piece of installed equipment, carrying the make, model and serial number, the nameplate photo, the manufacturer's conditions for keeping the full warranty term, and the registration confirmation number, then builds the evidence pack when that part fails. It is a different shape of record from a job or a customer, because it outlives both by ten to twenty five years.
Does it replace my job management software?
No. Claim Timer does not schedule jobs, dispatch techs, send invoices or run a CRM, and it is not going to. It sits next to whatever you already use and covers the manufacturer obligation on each piece of equipment after the job has closed.
How much does warranty tracking software cost?
Claim Timer is free for up to 5 installs a month with unlimited users. Paid plans run $99 a month for up to 15 installs, $199 for up to 50, and $349 for up to 150. Above that it is around $1.50 an install, agreed up front. There is no setup fee and no contract.
Do I pay per user?
No. Every plan has unlimited users, including the free one, because charging per seat would punish you for putting your techs on it and the techs are the ones taking the photo. Pricing follows install volume instead.
Does a job with three brands count as three installs?
No. Plan limits count installs a month, not manufacturers, so a job with an inverter, a battery and an array is one install on your plan. Inside Claim Timer it is still three separate records with three separate sets of conditions, because that is how the manufacturers treat it.

How long does it take to set up?
There is nothing to implement and nobody to book a call with. Open the sample account, then add your next install or upload a CSV of the last few months. The one job worth doing properly is the manufacturer list: your brands, and the conditions you hold each of them to.
Start with the reference, not the software
The warranty catalogue behind Claim Timer is open, and so are the calculators built on it. Read what your brands actually ask for before you decide you need anything, and if the answer is that your current process already covers it, that is a good outcome.
