No deadline
Nothing to register and nothing to confirm.
Sungrow has no registration deadline and no registration requirement. The 10 year term runs from the installation date whether anyone registers or not. EV chargers are the one exception: the installer registers those within a month. Keep proof of the install date, because the whole term hangs off it.
Verify: step by step
Capture the nameplate before anyone leaves site
Photograph the nameplate and record the serial and model. Sungrow asks for serial number, model, installation date, customer name, installation address, and every one of those is easier on the roof than from the office.
Open the Sungrow portal
Registration happens at https://service.sungrowpower.com.au/Warranty/warranty-registration. A commissioning app registers this one, and your job is verifying it happened.
Record the confirmation
Save the confirmation number and the date against the job. There is no deadline to prove, but there is a start date to prove, and that is what a claim will ask for.
