Fronius gives 10 years on its inverters through Warranty Plus, free but not automatic: the unit has to be registered in Solar.web within 30 months of delivery ex works. Registering also moves the start of cover from delivery to commissioning. Units installed before 1 October 2024 use a 24 month window from installation instead.

What has to stay true
Nothing has to stay true
Fronius attaches no conditions to the full term in the document we read. Keep the serial, the invoice and the install date with the job and the claim file is complete.
Terms by product line
Parts and labour are separate covers and they are rarely the same length. The models column is what the nameplate will say.
| Product line | Parts | Labour | Models |
|---|---|---|---|
| Primo GEN24 Plus | 10 years | 1 year | Primo GEN24 6.0 Plus, Primo GEN24 8.0 Plus |
What it pays for labour
The part is covered. The truck roll usually is not, and that is the number that decides whether a claim is worth filing.
The Primo GEN24 Plus line carries 12 months of labour cover alongside its 10 years of parts.
Register: how it works
Who performs the registration changes what you have to chase, but the window runs regardless of who was meant to act.

Fronius warranty questions
Do I have to register a Fronius inverter?
For the free 10 year Warranty Plus, yes. It has to be registered in Solar.web within 30 months of delivery ex works. This is the one dated registration window in the Australian residential catalogue that is genuinely real.
When does Fronius warranty cover start?
At delivery ex works by default. Registering in Solar.web moves the start to commissioning, which is worth months of cover on a unit that sat in a warehouse.
What happens if the 30 month window is missed?
The free Warranty Plus extension is what the registration buys, so missing the window means the unit does not get it. Check the current Fronius document for the term that applies to the model you installed.

Warranty terms change and differ by country. This is a reading of the manufacturer's published document on the date shown, not legal advice, and not a substitute for the document that applies to the model you installed.
