The window
30 months
A real dated window. Miss it and the term you were sold is not the term you have.
Fronius gives 10 years on its inverters through Warranty Plus, free but not automatic: the unit has to be registered in Solar.web within 30 months of delivery ex works. Registering also moves the start of cover from delivery to commissioning. Units installed before 1 October 2024 use a 24 month window from installation instead.
Register: step by step
Capture the nameplate before anyone leaves site
Photograph the nameplate and record the serial and model. Fronius asks for serial number, installation date, customer name, installation address, installer name, and every one of those is easier on the roof than from the office.
Open the Fronius portal
Registration happens at https://www.solarweb.com/. You register this one.
Record the confirmation
Save the confirmation number and the date against the job. The window is 30 months, and the only thing that proves you met it is the confirmation.

Nothing has to stay true
Fronius attaches no conditions to the full term in the document we read. Keep the serial, the invoice and the install date with the job and the claim file is complete.
