Registering SolarEdge

No deadline
No clock. 1 condition to confirm instead.
SolarEdge's standard 12 year inverter term needs no registration and starts at the earlier of installation or four months from shipment. The only clock is the paid extension: if the customer wants 20 or 25 years, it has to be bought within 24 months of shipment. The commissioning app handles registration itself.
Verify: step by step
Capture the nameplate before anyone leaves site
Photograph the nameplate and record the serial and model. SolarEdge asks for serial number, installation date, customer name, installation address, installer name, and every one of those is easier on the roof than from the office.
Open the SolarEdge portal
Registration happens at https://monitoring.solaredge.com/. A commissioning app registers this one, and your job is verifying it happened.
Meet the conditions, then confirm them
SolarEdge attaches a condition to the full term: If the customer wants 20 or 25 years, the paid extension must be bought within 24 months of shipment. The standard 12 years needs nothing. Confirm each one rather than assuming it happened.
Record the confirmation
Save the confirmation number and the date against the job. There is no deadline to prove, but there is a start date to prove, and that is what a claim will ask for.

Registration is a moment. Conditions are permanent, and they are what actually decides the term.

Warranty terms change and differ by country. This is a reading of the manufacturer's published document on the date shown, not legal advice, and not a substitute for the document that applies to the model you installed.
Stop chasing SolarEdge registrations by memory
Claim Timer holds each brand's route and conditions on the equipment record, so the confirmation number lands on the job instead of in somebody's inbox.
