Enphase IQ8 microinverters carry 25 years, applied from Enlighten activation, so the thing to confirm is that activation happened. In the United States Enphase also pays labour: $200 per truck roll plus $25 per replaced microinverter, and a paid Labor Protection Program extension stretches labour cover to five or ten years from activation.

SMA's US residential inverters carry a 10 year factory warranty. Registering in SMA's Online Service Center is how the warranty record attaches to the unit, and it is the door to paid extensions later, which can be bought any time during the factory term up to 20 years total. No dated deadline was found.
