Registering BYD

No deadline
No clock. 1 condition to confirm instead.
BYD has no registration at all. The trap is the start date. Without written proof of delivery, the 10 years runs from six months after production, which can quietly burn months of cover before the battery is switched on. A delivery note moves the start to delivery plus 30 days.
Register: step by step
Capture the nameplate before anyone leaves site
Photograph the nameplate and record the serial and model. BYD asks for serial number, model, installation date, customer name, installation address, and every one of those is easier on the roof than from the office.
Open the BYD portal
Registration happens at https://www.bydbatterybox.com/. You register this one.
Meet the conditions, then confirm them
BYD attaches a condition to the full term: Delivery note kept on file: it moves the warranty start from production date + 6 months to delivery + 30 days. Confirm each one rather than assuming it happened.
Record the confirmation
Save the confirmation number and the date against the job. There is no deadline to prove, but there is a start date to prove, and that is what a claim will ask for.

What has to stay true afterwards
Registration is a moment. Conditions are permanent, and they are what actually decides the term.

Warranty terms change and differ by country. This is a reading of the manufacturer's published document on the date shown, not legal advice, and not a substitute for the document that applies to the model you installed.
Stop chasing BYD registrations by memory
Claim Timer holds each brand's route and conditions on the equipment record, so the confirmation number lands on the job instead of in somebody's inbox.
